Installation guide for PC ( Windows / Mac )
- Uninstall all the existing office applications from your PC. (This is very important to avoid any conflict issue)
- Restart your PC.
Step 1-
- Sign-in at Microsoft Official website office.com to download office:
- Log out of your Microsoft account if you are logged in already.
- Login using the username and password you have received.
- After login, it will prompt you to change the password. Set a new password and click ‘next’ (remember your new password for future use).
- Set recovery email and mobile
- Click ‘Finish’.
- Once you are signed into the Microsoft office home page, select ‘Install Office’ in the top right corner of the page and click ‘Office 365 apps’.
- This will start the installer download.
- Once the download is completed, open the installer file to install the office
Step 2, Install Office:
- Once the download is completed, open the downloaded file.
- Depending on your browser, select Run(in Edge or Internet Explorer), Setup (in Chrome) or Save File (in Firefox).
- If you see the message “Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?”, Select yes to proceed. Installation begins.
- Click ‘close’ once the installation is successfully completed.
- Continue to activate the office and enjoy!
Step 3, Enable automatic update
- To open an Office app, select the start button and type the name of any Office app, example: type ‘Word’
- Click the Word icon and open the app.
- Click continue in the welcome window.
- Unselect the ‘Allow my organization to manage my device’ and click ‘ok’.
- Wait until all is set and click ‘Done’.
- Accept the license agreement and the license and the Office Automatic Update service will be activated on your PC.
